The weight of this press does all the work—my burgers come out perfectly smashed with that crispy sear on the outside, and the even heating means no more burnt edges. I've used it for bacon and sausage too, and everything cooks up faster than with my old cast iron skillet.
Bacon cooks flat and crispy in about half the time now, and the heavy cast iron does exactly what it promises for smashing burgers. The handle stays cool enough to grip comfortably, which I didn't expect. My grill game's been kicked up a notch for sure.
The weight of this press does all the work when I’m smashing burgers, and the even searing keeps the juices locked in every time. Bacon comes out flatter and crispier than I ever got with a spatula, and cleanup is just a quick wipe since the surface stays smooth.
