Set-up took maybe two minutes, and the side shelf is a real game-changer when I'm cooking outside. It folds down flat enough to toss in the trunk, so I've actually started bringing the griddle on camping trips.
I was worried the legs might wobble on uneven ground, but the break-down design locks in tight and the side shelf held a full plate and a drink without tipping. Folds up small enough to toss in the trunk, and setting it up takes about a minute.
The legs lock in securely, so setting it up on uneven grass for tailgating was surprisingly hassle-free. It folds down slim enough to toss in the trunk without eating up space, and the side shelf held my seasoning and spatula perfectly while I cooked.
