The foldable probe is a lifesaver when I need to check the oil temp in a pan without leaning over the griddle. The LCD is big enough that I don’t have to squint, even with my sunglasses on.

Switched mine to Fahrenheit right away and the big LCD makes it easy to read even in bright sunlight. The point-and-shoot mode nails the griddle surface temp every time, so no more guessing when the pancakes hit the iron.
