The mat sits flat on the counter right next to my griddle, so my spatula and tongs stay put without any grease sneaking onto the table. It’s clearly built for this exact setup, and cleanup is just a quick wipe.
I was so tired of wiping grease off the counter every time I cooked, but this mat completely solves that. It's the perfect size to hold my spatula and tongs while I'm at the griddle, and the surface wipes clean in seconds.
It keeps my spatula and tongs from scratching the counter while I cook, and it wipes down in seconds after. The surface grips the tools just enough that nothing slides off mid-meal.
