1550/1555 C-clamps

Picked up a pair for a weekend welding project and the threaded screw moves smoothly under load, which makes adjustments quick. The frame feels solid enough to handle some serious pressure without flexing.

Finally got around to using these on a metal shelving unit I was welding together, and the clamping force is noticeably even across the whole jaw. They held tight without any slipping, even when I was grinding down some rough edges. Exactly what I needed for solid, everyday shop work.

Mounted a shelf in my garage last weekend and these clamps held the wood perfectly steady while I drilled. The threaded pad on the screw end really grips without slipping.
